2024-25 Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacifico Playoff Schedule Packed with Intriguing Matchups

The 2024-25 Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacifico ended on December 30, 2024, with a tight turnaround for the league’s playoffs starting on January 1, 2025, to kick off the new year. 

The quarterfinals of the LAMP playoffs will be from January 1-9, followed by the semifinals and championship series, with dates still yet to be determined. The dates are before the start of the 2025 Caribbean Series in Mexicali, Baja, California, at El Nido de los Águilas. 

All the rounds of the LAMP playoffs are best-of-seven series. Schedule updates are located at LMP.mx.

This is the 80th season that the Liga ARCO Mexicana del Pacífico has been in operation. 

The 2024-25 LAMP playoffs will have eight teams in the first round, with the Tomateros de Culiacán winning the regular season title with their record at 43-25, the Naranjeros de Hermosillo finishing second at 42-26, the Charros de Jalisco in third place at 37-31, the Cañeros de Los Mochis finished in fourth place at 37-31, the Algodoneros de Guasave clinched fifth place at 35-33, the Aguilas de Mexicali finished in six place at 34-33, the Yaquis de Obregon were in seventh place at 32-35, and the Venados de Mazatlan finished in last place at 30-38.

Matchups: The No. 1 Tomateros de Culiacán will play the No. 8 Venados de Mazatlán, the No. 2 Naranjeros de Hermosillo will face off against the No. 7 Yaquis de Obregón, the No. 3 Charros de Jalisco will play the 2025 Caribbean Series host, the No. 6 Águilas de Mexicali, and the No. 4 Cañeros de Los Mochis will play the No. 5 Algodoneros de Guasave in the first round-quarterfinals of the 2024-25 LAMP playoffs. 

Name Change: The name of the LAMP best-of-seven-championship series will be called Serie de Mexico for the first time. The league trophy will be in memory of Mexican baseball icon left-handed pitcher Fernando Valenzuela. 

Where to Watch: All 2024-25 LAMP games will be televised on their YouTube channel with a paid subscription until the final out of their best-of-seven championship series. The league’s streaming information is on the league’s website

Triple Crown: Naranjeros de Hermosillo starting pitcher Robert Stock won the LAMP Triple Crown after having a 1.60 ERA, 10 wins, and 78 strikeouts in the 2024-25 season, and shortstop Jasson Atondo won the league’s batting title, hitting .355.
