The Aruban Baseball Federation revealed the 2024 Aruba Kingdom Series schedule last week. The tournament will take place this fall from Oct. 31 to Nov. 4 and feature four teams competing for the championship. This is the second iteration of the Kingdom Series after Curaçao hosted the inaugural edition in 2022.
This Kingdom Series will feature squads from Curaçao, the Netherlands, Aruba, and Bonaire, which is a special municipality in the Netherlands. The first champion of the Kingdom Series was Team Kingdom of the Netherlands, as they defeated Curaçao in the final by a score of 6-1. Each team will have three games, one against each opponent, and the teams with the best two records will compete in the tournament final on November 4. It will be interesting to see if former MLB players who have represented these countries in the past will compete. Curaçao had Didi Gregorius, Andrelton Simmons, and Jonathan Schoop on their initial roster in the 2024 Caribbean Series, but neither of those three men are on the Kingdom Series roster.

Team Kingdom competes in this tournament after competing in the Haarlem Honkbal tournament earlier this summer against teams from all over the globe. They finished in third place during that tournament and hope to take the momentum from this summer towards a second straight Kingdom Series championship.
The first game will feature Curaçao facing Bonaire on Halloween night, October 31, at 7:30 p.m. EST at the Stadion Nadi Croes/Crismo Angela in Aruba.
