The 2024 Louisville Silver Slugger Award Finalists were announced on Monday, November 4, for the 2024 Major League Baseball regular season in the American and National League.
The first year of the Louisville Silver Slugger Award was in 1980.
The first international-born players to win the Louisville Slugger Award were former Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Manny Trillo from Venezuela in the NL and former Milwaukee Brewers outfielder Ben Oglivie in the AL in 1980.
The 2024 Louisville Silver Slugger winners at each position will be announced on Tuesday, November 12, at 6 p.m. EST on MLB Network.
Each manager from all 30 MLB organizations and three coaches on their staff will cast their votes for each player at their position and one utility player from both the AL and NL.
Last year in the NL in the 2023 season, Atlanta Braves first baseman Matt Olson, Miami Marlins second baseman Luis Arraez, Atlanta Braves third baseman Austin Riley, New York Mets shortstop, Atlanta Braves outfielder Ronald Acuna Jr., Los Angeles Dodgers outfielder Mookie Betts, former San Deigo Padres outfielder Juan Soto, Milwaukee Brewers catcher William Contreras, Philadelphia Phillies designated hitter Bryce Harper and Dodgers utility player Cody Bellinger won the Louisville Silver Slugger Award.
For the AL during the 2023 regular season, the players that won the Louisville Silver Slugger Award were Tampa Bay Rays first baseman Yandy Diaz, Texas Rangers second baseman Marcus Semien, Boston Red Sox third baseman Rafael Devers, Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager, Chicago White Sox outfielder Luis Robert Jr., Seattle Mariners outfielder Julio Rodriguez, Houston Astros right fielder Kyle Tucker, Baltimore Orioles catcher Adley Rutschman, former Los Angeles Angels designated hitter Shohei Ohtani and Baltimore Orioles utility player Gunnar Henderson.

Brandon Drury in 2022 and Cody Bellinger in 2023 in the NL were the first two players to win as a utility player for the Louisville Silver Slugger Award.
