2024 NJCAA USA Honkbalweek Haarlem Roster

The NJCAA All-Star 24-man roster will represent the USA at the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament starting on July 12.    

From July 12 to 19, all of the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem games will be played at Pim Mulier Stadion in Haarlem, Netherlands.  

The gold medal and bronze medal game will be on July 19.    

The NJCAA All-Star team will not receive points for the World Baseball Rankings from the World Baseball Softball Confederation.  

All the other participating countries will receive points from the WBR.  

The NJCAA will be one of the six teams in the field at the Honkbalweek Haarlem event in Haarlem, Netherlands, with host nation Kingdom of Netherlands, Spain, Chinese Taipei, Japan, and Italy.   

The NJCAA All-Star Team will represent the United States at the event.  

Marty Smith from the College of Central Florida will be the head coach for the NJCAA All-Star team.    

Iowa Western Community College has the most players on the NJCAA All-Star roster: Noah Scott, Adam Singer, Brayden Smith, Brynner Waiolama, and Luke Broderick.  

The NJCAA Baseball All-Star Team roster for the Honkbalweek Haarlem event will be announced during the 2024 collegiate season. 

The NJCAA All-Star Team participated in the 2010 Honkbalweek Haarlem event and finished in fourth place, losing to Japan in the bronze medal game. This will be the second time the NJCAA will send an All-Star Team to Honkbalweek Haarlem.  

The United States has won 14 gold medals at the Honkbal Haarlem Week tournament, which is the most.  

The Koninklijke Nederlandse Baseball en Softball Bond will have players on the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem roster participating in the 2024 Honkbal Hoofdklasse regular season. The Netherlands will have players from the Antilles, Curacao, and Aruba on their Honkbalweek Haarlem roster. The Netherlands has won four gold medals at the Honkbalweek Haarlem event and beat Curacao 6-1 in the gold medal game during the 2022 event. 

Spain is aiming for their first gold medal at the Honkbalweek Haarlem event. The Real Federación Española de Béisbol y Sófbol will have players from their División de Honor de Béisbol and other players from other international professional leagues.    

The Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball will participate in the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem. Italy will have players on their 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem roster from their SerieA1 league.   

The Baseball Federation of Japan and the Chinese Taipei Baseball Association will bring their college national team to the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem event. The CTBA will have players in their minor leagues of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taiwan be on the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament roster.

The first game of the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem event will be on July 12. Chinese Taipei will play Japan at 9:30 a.m. EDT, followed by the Netherlands playing the United States at 1:30 p.m. EDT, both games at Pim Mulier Stadion.
