Arizona’s Brendan Summerhill and Arizona State’s Ben Jacobs were named Big 12 Player and Pitcher of the Year, while TCU’s Sawyer Strosnider earned Freshman of the Year honors. Arizona’s Tony Pluta was named Scholar-Athlete of the Year, and Kansas head coach Dan Fitzgerald was recognized as Coach of the Year after guiding the Jayhawks to a 42–14 regular season. This marks the fourth straight year the tournament has been held at Globe Life Field. MLB Pipeline has five Big 12 players ranked among its Top 150 2025 Draft prospects. The 2025 Big 12 Conference Championship gets underway Wednesday, May 21, and runs through May 24 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, home of Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers.

All games will air on ESPN platforms, including ESPN+, ESPN2, and ESPNU. The championship game will be broadcast Saturday, May 24, at 7 p.m. EDT on ESPNU.
This is the first Big 12 postseason appearance for Arizona and Arizona State. UCF and Utah did not qualify. The tournament will transition to Surprise Stadium in Surprise, Ariz., beginning in 2026.
The NCAA Tournament Selection Show airs Monday, May 26, at 12 p.m. EDT on ESPNU.
TCU and Oklahoma State have each won four Big 12 Tournament championships, the most in league history. Baylor, Kansas, and Texas Tech have each won once.
