“It’s an honor for us to host this game at our home. We’ve witnessed how baseball has grown in popularity among fans. We urge the public to purchase their tickets early if they have the opportunity, due to the high demand we anticipate for this event,” Diaz said on the league’s website.
All ticket information for the 2025 LMB All-Star Game is available in the league’s press release.
Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu, home of the Diablos Rojos del Mexico, opened on March 23, 2019, and seats 20,062.
The 2025 All-Star Game will feature a unique format: the LMB All-Stars will face the Mexico national team in a 10-inning game, with each inning honoring a decade of league history.
Fan voting for the LMB All-Star team will run from June 2 to June 13 on the league’s digital platforms. According to the league, “fans will choose which stars they want to see on the diamond facing the Mexican National Team, made up of LMB players.”
The Centennial All-Star Game is scheduled for Sunday, June 29 at 9 p.m. EDT, with pregame festivities that include a tribute to the 100th Anniversary All-Star Team and a Fan Fest featuring sponsors, autograph sessions, and meet-and-greets.
The league also announced, “The Centennial Gala will be a special event honoring the best LMB players of the century. The event will take place Friday, June 27 at 7 p.m. MT in the Santa Fe Garden. The Celebrity Game will follow Saturday, June 28 at 7 p.m. EDT at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu. That evening will also honor the top on- and off-field performers from the 2024 season, followed by the Home Run Derby at 9 p.m. EDT.”
On June 26 and 27, the stadium will host a top prospect showcase featuring scouts from Major League Baseball, the CPBL in Taiwan, the KBO in South Korea, and Japan’s NPB. A Futures Game will be held June 26.
Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu last hosted the LMB All-Star Game in 2019. This year marks the 33rd time the game will be played in Mexico City and the 91st in league history.
Parque Delta, home of the Diablos Rojos from 1940 to 1956, hosted 11 All-Star Games. Parque de Seguro Social, shared by the Diablos Rojos and Tigres Capitalinos, hosted 18. Foro Sol hosted once in 2001.
Earlier this year, the stadium hosted the 2025 Baseball Champions League Americas tournament, organized by the World Baseball Softball Confederation. The 2024 LMB champion Diablos Rojos defeated the Cuban Serie Nacional champion Lenadores de Las Tunas 6-1 in the final.
The Diablos Rojos del Mexico hold the record for most Serie del Rey championships, with 17.
The stadium also hosted MLB Mexico City Series games in 2023 and 2024, featuring the Giants vs. Padres and Astros vs. Rockies. In 2024, the Yankees played two exhibition games at the venue against the Diablos Rojos prior to the regular season.
The 2025 season marks the 100th year of the Liga Mexicana de Beisbol, founded in 1925.
Leif Skodnick of World Baseball Network named the LMB All-Century Team ahead of the league’s milestone season.
