“It’s an honor for us to host this game at our home. We’ve witnessed how baseball has grown in popularity among fans. We urge the public to purchase their tickets early if they have the opportunity, due to the high demand we anticipate for this event,” Díaz said on the league’s website.
All ticket information is available on the league’s press release.
Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu is home to the 2024 Serie del Rey champion Diablos Rojos del México and seats 20,062. The team has a league-best 17 Serie del Rey titles. The stadium opened March 23, 2019.
This year’s All-Star Game will feature a unique format, with the LMB All-Stars facing the Mexico national team in a 10-inning matchup—each inning representing a decade of LMB history.
The official rosters for both teams were announced on June 18.
Diablos Rojos del México manager Lorenzo Bundy will lead the LMB All-Stars, while former MLB standout and Mexican-born legend Vinny Castilla will manage the Mexico national team.
According to the league website, “The 2025 LMB All-Star Game will be the first time that the Mexican Baseball Team faces a combined LMB Stars. Of the 90 previous editions of the mid-season classic, the formats used were North Zone vs South Zone (44 times), Mexicans vs Foreigners (30 times), LMB vs Texas League (10 times), Mexico vs Cuba (3 times), Carmona vs Oliveros (1 time), and Combinado LMB vs Tigres (1 time).”
The Mexico national team roster features players from both Zona del Norte and Zona del Sur. Diablos Rojos del México lead all teams with six players, followed by Acereros de Monclova with four. Several clubs, including Sultanes de Monterrey, Guerreros de Oaxaca, Olmecas de Tabasco, Leones de Yucatán, Algodoneros de Unión Laguna, and Caliente de Durango, have two players each. Others, such as Saraperos de Saltillo, Piratas de Campeche, Charros de Jalisco, and Toros de Tijuana, have reinforcement callups.
All 26 LMB All-Stars are international-born players, representing the United States (9), Dominican Republic (7), Venezuela (5), Cuba (2), the Netherlands (1), Japan (1), and Panama (1).
The Diablos Rojos del México lead all clubs with four players on the LMB All-Star roster, followed by Tecolotes de los Dos Laredos with three. The remaining clubs have one representative each.

According to the league’s website, fan voting for the LMB All-Star team was conducted through the league’s digital platforms from Monday, June 2, to Friday, June 13.
The LMB Centennial All-Star Game will take place on Sunday, June 29, at 9 p.m. EDT. Pregame festivities will include a tribute to the LMB 100th Year Anniversary All-Star Team and a Fan Fest featuring sponsor activations, autograph signings, and meet-and-greets.
The Centennial Gala, honoring the best players of the century, will take place Friday, June 27, at 7 p.m. MT in Santa Fe Garden. The Celebrity Game is set for Saturday, June 28, at 7 p.m. EDT, followed by the Home Run Derby at 9 p.m. EDT—all at Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu.
Top LMB prospects will be showcased June 26-27, with scouts from MLB, NPB, KBO, and CPBL in attendance. A Futures Game will be held June 26.
Estadio Alfredo Harp Helu has hosted the All-Star Game once before, in 2019. It will be the 33rd edition played in Mexico City and the 91st in LMB history. The stadium also hosted the 2025 Baseball Champions League Americas event this past April.
The ballpark previously hosted two MLB Mexico City Series events: Giants vs. Padres in April 2023 and Astros vs. Rockies in April 2024. The Yankees also played two exhibition games there against Diablos Rojos del México before the 2024 season.
The 2025 season marks the LMB’s 100th year of operation since its founding in 1925.
Leif Skodnick of World Baseball Network named the LMB All Century Team earlier this year.
All LMB games are available via subscription on LMB.tv, and fans can follow teams on their YouTube channels for live game updates.
