The 2025 Southeastern Conference Tournament runs May 20–25 in Hoover, Ala. at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. The SEC championship game will air May 25 on ESPN2 at 3 p.m. EDT, with all games from the first round through the semifinals broadcast on SEC Network. The NCAA Tournament Selection Monday Show airs May 26 on ESPNU at 12 p.m. EDT.
Hoover Met can seat 10,800 fans and expand beyond 16,000 with patio, banquet, and grassy areas. It includes 12 suites and formerly hosted the Double-A Birmingham Barons, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox. The SEC Tournament has been held at Hoover Met every year since 1999, with prior editions there in 1990 and 1996.
Five SEC teams have won the National Championship and SEC Tournament in the same season: LSU (2009, 2023), South Carolina (2010, 2011), Vanderbilt (2014, 2019), Florida (2017), and Tennessee (2024). Tennessee was also the first No. 1 ranked team to win the national title since Miami in 1999.
Four SEC teams reached the 2024 College World Series—Tennessee, Kentucky, Texas A&M, and Florida—joining ACC contenders NC State, North Carolina, Florida State, and Virginia.
Oklahoma and Texas are making their SEC Tournament debuts in 2025. Texas secured its first SEC regular season title.
The SEC announced its 2025 baseball awards on Monday, May 19. Arkansas shortstop Wehiwa Aloy was named SEC Player of the Year, Tennessee’s Liam Doyle earned Pitcher of the Year honors, and Texas head coach Jim Schlossnagle was recognized as SEC Coach of the Year in his debut season.
