The 2025 Southeastern Conference Tournament will be held from May 20 to 25 in Hoover, Alabama, at Hoover Metropolitan Stadium. A full list of past SEC Tournament champions can be found at SECSports.com.

The 2025 SEC championship game is scheduled for May 25 at 3 p.m. EDT on ESPN2. Games from the first round through the semifinals will air on SEC Network through May 24.

The NCAA Tournament Selection Monday Show will air May 26 on ESPNU at 12 p.m. EDT.

The Hoover Met has a base seating capacity of 10,800, expandable to over 16,000 with patio, banquet, and grassy side areas. It includes 12 suites not accessible to players or coaching staff.

Hoover Metropolitan Stadium hosted the SEC Tournament in 1990 and 1996. Since 1999, it has been the tournament’s permanent home.

The Double-A Birmingham Barons, an affiliate of the Chicago White Sox in the Southern League, played at the Hoover Met from 1988 to 2012.

Programs that have won both the National Championship and the SEC Tournament in the same year include LSU in 2009 and 2023, South Carolina in 2010 and 2011, Vanderbilt in 2014 and 2019, Florida in 2017, and Tennessee in 2024.

Tennessee in 2024 became the first program to win the National Title while ranked No. 1 in the country since the University of Miami did so in 1999.

Texas and Oklahoma will make their SEC Tournament debuts in 2025, their first year in the conference.
