This past week, the field of four teams for the 2026 Las Vegas College Baseball Classic was revealed.
The Oregon Ducks, Vanderbilt Commodores, Arizona Wildcats, and UC Irvine Anteaters will play at Las Vegas Ballpark from February 27 through March 1.
In 2025, the Oregon Ducks went 42-16 overall and were 22-8 in Big Ten play. In their first season in the Big Ten, they won a share of the conference regular season championship, along with the UCLA Bruins.
Oregon made the 2025 NCAA Tournament and were the number 12 overall national seed. They hosted a regional at PK Park in Eugene.
Vanderbilt finished the 2025 season 43-18 overall and were 19-11 in SEC play. They won their second SEC Tournament championship in three seasons.
This led to the Commodores hosting an NCAA Tournament regional in Nashville as the number one overall national seed.
Much like Vanderbilt, the Arizona Wildcats also won their conference tournament championship. They took home the Big 12 Tournament crown at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
The Wildcats went to the NCAA Tournament and were placed in the Eugene regional with Oregon. They won the regional title and went all the way to Omaha and played in the 2025 College World Series.
It was the 19th appearance in the College World Series in their program’s history.
UC Irvine went 43-17 overall and were 24-6 in Big West play. The Anteaters made the NCAA Tournament for the second straight season and played in the Los Angeles regional.
They also won the Big West regular season title this past season.
