2028 Olympic Baseball Format and Game Schedule Announced

The organizing committee for the 2028 Summer Olympic Games, which will be held in Los Angeles, announced the competition format and game schedule for baseball at the games.

Held at Dodger Stadium, the baseball competition at the 2028 Olympic Games will run from July 13-19. Teams will be divided into two three-team groups, with each team playing a two-game round robin from July 13-16. On July 17, there will be play-in quarterfinals, followed by semifinal games on July 18, with a split doubleheader on July 19 featuring the bronze and gold medal games.

The qualification criteria for the 2028 Olympic baseball competition have yet to be announced, nor have eligibility rules for players.
