Successful Fourth Edition of the Puerto Rico Umpire Clinic, in addition to certifying more than twenty Baseball5 table officials
(Press Release; Pan American Baseball Confederation).- The Puerto Rico Baseball Federation is also focusing on the training of its official staff, with two activities that contribute to the professionalization and development of participants.
Sponsored by the Puerto Rico Umpire Clinic Corporation, the fourth edition of the Puerto Rico Umpire Clinic was successfully held, with the participation of 108 umpires from various countries and states.
The FBPR and its president, Dr. José Quiles, sponsored the event, which was led by FBPR Umpire Coordinator Carlos Rey, bringing together officials from Puerto Rico, Brazil, Curaçao, and the Virgin Islands, as well as personnel from the United States, specifically New York and Miami.
Baseball5 Certification
In a similar activity, the FBPR continues to strengthen the development of Baseball5 by holding a certification course for table officials, in which a total of 21 participants completed the training.
The main instructor for the activity was WBSC Baseball5 Continental Promoter Pablo Leone. This course is part of the educational initiatives promoted by the FBPR.
