This year marks a new chapter for the camp — hosted in Sisak’s new sports hall, offering state-of-the-art facilities and comfortable hotel accommodation for all participants. The upgraded venue provides the perfect environment for both athletic and personal growth.
Over the course of four days, players will spend 30 hours in the gym focusing on skill development, physical preparation, and game scenarios under the supervision of an experienced international coaching team.
Evenings will feature workshops and educational sessions, including biofeedback and mental training, aimed at helping athletes improve focus, self-awareness, and overall performance.
World-Class Coaching Staff
The 2025 edition brings together an impressive group of instructors from across Europe and the USA:
- Craig Montvidas (Netherlands/USA) – Director of the Camp, bringing decades of experience from the highest levels of international softball, including WBSC and professional coaching.
- Greta Cecchetti (Italy) – Pitching Coach, a renowned Italian National Team pitcher and coach, sharing her expertise in elite pitching mechanics and performance.
- Marjolein Merkx (Netherlands) – Pitching Coach, known for her technical knowledge and ability to develop young pitchers.
- Fernando Escarra (Venezuela) – Catching Coach, offering top-level instruction in defensive and catching techniques.
- Marta Gasparotto and Elisa Cecchetti (Italy) – Providing valuable support to the technical team with their extensive international experience as players and mentors.
- Paul Petrica (USA) – Contributing American-style training insights, emphasizing fundamentals and athletic development.
- Jeroen Swers (Belgium) – A coach for Roef! from the Netherlands, bringing practical European coaching experience and a passion for development.
The camp’s logistical organization is led by Petra Čizmić Pokrajac, Chair of the WBSC Europe Development Department, ensuring smooth coordination and delivery of this international event.
