The blue team defeated Brazil and the white team defeated Panama, consolidating their positions at the top of the standings
(Press Release; Pan American Baseball Confederation) – The Pan American Baseball Confederation continued its U10 International Championship in Mérida, Venezuela, where the host teams have taken the lead in the standings.
Venezuela Blue (1-1) defeated Brazil (1-1) in the first game by a 10-0 knockout in four innings, taking sole possession of second place due to head-to-head record.
The standout player was Heiser Bolívar, who, in addition to earning the win on the mound, went 2-for-2 with a run scored, two RBIs, and a stolen base.
Meanwhile, Venezuela White (2-0) defeated Panama (0-2) by a score 4-2 to maintain their undefeated record and solidify their position at the top of the standings.
The most valuable player was Jonathan Reyes, who went 3-for-4 with a run scored.
The action continues on Monday with Venezuela (Blue) visiting Panama and Venezuela (White) hosting Brazil.
