Colombia will be competing in Pool A of the World Baseball Classic with Canada, Cuba, Panama and Puerto Rico.
Colombia may not have the same amount of big league talent as other countries, but their team has some experienced arms that they should be able to lean on. Jose Quintana and Julio Teheran have a combined 652 big league games under their belt. They have three All-Stars combined, and Quintana had a solid season for the Milwaukee Brewers last year.
He posted a 3.96 ERA in 24 starts after a late start to the season. Offensively, they have players with big league experience, but on paper, they may not stack up with other rosters in their pool. However, games are not played on paper, and any team can make a run.
