A Look at the 2025 Coastal Carolina Fall Exhibition Schedule

The Coastal Carolina Chanticleers have two opponents to play for their slate of fall exhibition games in 2025.

The team will head south of Conway along the South Carolina coast for two road games.

First, on October 17, they will face off against The Citadel Bulldogs at Joseph P. Riley Jr. Park.

The first pitch for that fall exhibition game is scheduled for 5 p.m. EDT.

Then, on October 24, they will play the Charleston Southern Buccaneers at Nielsen Field.

The first pitch for that fall exhibition game has not yet been announced.

Breaking Down The Citadel and Charleston Southern’s 2025 Seasons

In 2025, The Citadel Bulldogs had a 31-26 overall record. They were also 12-9 in Southern Conference (SOCON) play.

They finished fourth in the conference behind only East Tennessee State, Samford, and Mercer.

The Bulldogs were able to get a win over the Western Carolina Catamounts in the SOCON Tournament in Greenville, S.C.

However, two losses in the tournament against Mercer and Wofford ended their season.

In year one under head coach Karl Kuhn, Charleston Southern had a 31-22 overall record. They were 14-10 in Big South Conference play as well.

The Buccaneers made a deep run in the Big South Tournament in High Point, N.C. They collected wins in the event against Presbyterian, Winthrop, and High Point.

They finished as runners-up in the 2025 Big South Tournament as they lost to USC Upstate in the championship round.

Coastal Carolina’s 2025 College World Series Season

The 2025 college baseball season was a massively successful one for the Chanticleers.

They went 56-13 overall and were 26-4 in Sun Belt play.

Coastal Carolina went on to win both the Sun Belt regular season and tournament championships.

The great season did not stop there for the Chanticleers. In the postseason, they hosted a regional in Conway as the number 13 overall national seed.
