During Alabama’s 6-5 win over Jacksonville State on Tuesday, right-handed pitcher Kaden Humphrey left the game after throwing just two pitches.
According to Theodore Fernandez on Bama Central, the Crimson Tide’s reliever is now getting Tommy John surgery.
This season, Humphrey pitched a total of 1 2/3 innings for Alabama. He recorded a strikeout in a game against Alabama State on February 18.
Humphery also briefly pitched against the Oregon State Beavers on February 28 in the Frisco College Baseball Classic.
Humphrey and his 2025 season at North Florida

Before playing two seasons with North Florida in 2024 and 2025, Humphrey also played for the Stetson Hatters in 2023 during his freshman season.
