On offense, Extranjeros finally got runs on the board in the middle innings, ending a stalemate to start the contest.

In the fifth inning, Chase Dawson got an RBI single, making it 1-0. Manuel Geraldo followed him up with an RBI knock of his own into right field, making it 2-0 heading into the sixth.

Extranjeros added to the score in the sixth inning with an RBI hit from Raul Rivas, which scored Ismael Alcántara. This put Nacionales in a 3-0 hole.
