On Friday, the second field of teams was revealed for the 2026 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series. These teams will play from February 27 to March 1 at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas, the home of Major League Baseball’s Texas Rangers.

Three SEC teams are in the field that will play in Arlington at the end of February. Tennessee, Texas A&M, and Mississippi State all played in the 2025 Astros Foundation Classic at Daikin Park, the home of the Houston Astros.

All three of these teams will be in the same ballpark next year for this invitational event.

The lone ACC representative is the Virginia Tech Hokies. In 2025, they played in the Keith LeClair Classic in Greenville, N.C., which was hosted by East Carolina. Despite losing their game against the Pirates that weekend, the Hokies did get two wins against Indiana State and Kent State.

Arizona State will represent the Big 12 in Arlington for this event. Despite not having played in a neutral-site invitational event this season, the Sun Devils are having a good season with a 35-19 overall record.

The University of California, Los Angeles will represent the Big Ten in Arlington at this event. The Bruins hosted an invitational event at Jackie Robinson Stadium and also played in the Kleberg Classic in Corpus Christi, Texas.

During those two events, UCLA got wins over Washington State, Michigan State, UConn, and USC.

This will be the second invitational event at Globe Life Field sponsored by Amegy Bank. The first one will take place from February 20-22.
