The first-ever Arab Classic baseball tournament has ended, with Pakistan hoisting the trophy. Following the final game, Baseball United released the All-Tournament team.
1B Gareth Grundlingh -KSA
Gareth was one of the best players for KSA as he led them to a quarterfinal appearance with his bat.
2B Syam Lafi- Palestine
Syam Lafi was a key contributor on the Palestinian team that made it to the Semi-Finals.
SS Chris Beyers- UAE
Chris Beyers made history when he recorded the UAE’s first-ever baseball hit. He would follow it up a few games later with the team’s second-ever home run.
SS Zan Shariff- Pakistan
Zan Shariff had an outstanding tournament for the champions. His elite defense shined in every game. His bat and speed were also on showcase as he would record an inside-the-park grand slam during the group stage.
3B Muhammed Hussain- Pakistan
Hussain, the MVP of the Arab Classic, was the best player in the entire tournament. His elite defense and incredible bat propelled Pakistan to the title.
LF Dylan Ahmad- Palestine
Dylan Ahmad was the best offensive player for Palestine. During the group stage, he would connect on their first-ever home run. Ahmad would help carry Palestine to the Semi-Finals.
CF Sameera Rathnayake- Sri Lanka
Sameera was the best player on a Sri Lankan team that shocked many by reaching the Semi-Finals.
RF Lorenzo Riddle- UAE
Lorenzo Riddle was an incredible bat for the UAE, as he would connect on one of their two home runs in the tournament.
RF Moosa Nonomiya- Pakistan
Moosa was an RBI machine for Pakistan. He recorded several games with multiple RBIs, including the finals, in which he drove in three runs.
DH Gabriel Reque- UAE
Reque was part of the UAE’s three-headed offensive attack, which slugged its way to the finals. However, the UAE lost to the champions in Pakistan.
C Shahid Ahmed- Bangladesh
Ahmed was the star on a Bangladesh team that struggled to get anything going offensively the entire tournament.
P Aslam Muhammed-Pakistan
Aslam was the workhorse of the Pakistan rotation and would pitch the game of his life in the finals, where he would only allow one run.
