This week, the Arkansas Razorbacks landed a commitment from Jorvorskie Lane Jr.
According to Perfect Game’s most recent 2026 class rankings from November 4, he is the 20th best player in the class.
Lane Jr. is from Fort Worth, Texas, and is a big-time athlete. He currently plays baseball for O.D. Wyatt High School.
Lane Jr. was also a member of the United States’ U-18 World Cup team that won a gold medal in Japan.
During the event, he got one hit in nine at-bats. That hit resulted in two RBI in a 9-0 win for the United States over Panama on September 5.
The Arkansas Razorbacks have the 14th ranked class in the 2026 recruiting cycle. Lane Jr.’s commitment to the school makes him their highest-ranked prospect in the 2026 class.
Out of the 13 total prospects that Arkansas has in the 2026 class, four of them are ranked in the top 100. Lane Jr. is one of those, along with Brody Crane, Judah Ota, and Spencer Browning.
The Razorbacks currently have a healthy crop of talent in Fayetteville from the 2025 recruiting class. Arkansas brought home the third-ranked class in that cycle. Only the Tennessee Volunteers and Texas Longhorns had better classes in 2025.
Arkansas also has a top five class currently in the 2027 recruiting cycle.
Lane Jr. becomes the latest elite prospect to commit to the Razorbacks.
