Arkansas Remains No. 1 After Four-win Week Vs. Mizzou, Oral Roberts

The D1Baseball.com NCAA Top 25 Division I rankings from were released on March 18 . 

Arkansas (17-2) remained ranked No.1 in the country after beating Oral Roberts at home 4-2 on March 12 and sweeping Missouri over the weekend in a three-game home series.  

Oregon State (17-2) rose to No. 2 and won two-of-three games on the road against Utah, winning 7-5 on March 15, won 8-1 on March 16, and losing 14-11 in the final game on March 17. 

Vanderbilt (18-3) moved up six spots to No. 3 and beat Indiana 13-5 at home on March 12 and swept Auburn University in a three-game home series over the weekend. 

Clemson University (17-2) surged from No. 10 to No. 4, beating Manhattan College in a two-game home series 6-3 on March 12 and 13-1 on March 13, and took two-of-three games from Duke University on the road last weekend. 

Florida State (18-0) is the only undefeated program in the Top 25 and entered the rankings week at No. 12. The Seminoles beat Florida on the road 12-8 on March 12 and swept Notre Dame in a three-game home series last weekend.

Wake Forest University (13-6) dropped nine spots from No. 7 to No. 16 in the nation. 

Louisiana State University (17-4) dropped from No. 2 to No. 5 despite beating North Dakota State 6-1 on March 12 and  7-0 on March 13. The Bayou Bengals lost two-of-three games on the road to Mississippi State. 

Texas A&M (18-2) dropped three spots to No. 7 after beating Sam Houston State University 9-8 at home on March 12. 

Tennessee (18-3) dropped from No. 5 to No. 8 after beating Eastern Kentucky University 17-2 in seven innings at home on March 12 and losing two-of-three games to Alabama on the road last weekend. 

Auburn (13-6) dropped five spots to No. 23 after winning one game last week on the road against Troy University by the score of 8-2 on March 12. 

Oklahoma at No. 17 (13-6), Virginia Tech at No. 19 and (14-4), and Mississippi State at No. 21 (15-6) are the other three programs that entered the rankings this week.

Four programs dropped out of the Top 25 rankings this week: South Carolina, which had been ranked No. 20; North Carolina State University, which was No. 13 last week; Texas, which was No. 23; and Texas Tech University, which was No. 24.
