In his sophomore season, Cannarella improved his power. He hit 11 home runs in 2024, a career high during his three seasons at Clemson. He also recorded a career high in RBIs that year with 60.
The accolades continued, as Cannarella was named a second-team All-American by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association and was a third-team All-ACC selection.
