The Auburn Tigers are trending in the right direction as the final weekend of the regular season approaches. The Tigers have won six straight series in Southeastern Conference (SEC) play. Their last weekend series loss came against March 27-29, when they were swept by the Alabama Crimson Tide.
Auburn’s SEC series wins in 2026, RPI, and Strength of Schedule
Auburn has won SEC weekend series against the Missouri Tigers, Arkansas Razorbacks, Kentucky Wildcats, Florida Gators, Oklahoma Sooners, Texas A&M Aggies, and Mississippi State Bulldogs.
They have a conference record of 16-11 and are in fifth place in the conference standings.
According to D1 Baseball, Auburn’s RPI is third in the nation behind only UCLA and Georgia Tech. This rating takes into account the strength of schedule, the winning percentage, and opponents’ strength of schedule. RPI is used by the NCAA Tournament Committee when it comes time to make a field of teams for the NCAA Tournament.
According to Warren Nolan, Auburn’s strength of schedule ranks first in the entire country.
Big season finale against the Georgia Bulldogs
After a midweek game against Jacksonville State on Tuesday, May 12, the Auburn Tigers will play at home at Plainsman Park to end SEC play.
The Georgia Bulldogs will play Auburn from May 14 through May 16. The Bulldogs lead the country in home runs this season and just won the 2026 SEC regular season title.
This sets up the best matchup of college baseball’s final weekend of regular-season play.
