The Baseball European Champions Cup is in week six of the 2024 first round. Monday, Draci Brno opened the week against Eagles Praha in a high-scoring display, winning 11-6.
Draci started the first inning by scoring two, but Eagles responded with one of their own. Eagles scored again with one in the second to tie it, but Draci added three in the top of the third. Eagles added one back, but Draci was on top 5-3 after three innings. Both offenses continued to explode and neither team’s pitching staff had an answer, but Draco’s early lead was too much for Eagles as Draci would win 11-6.
The BECC is currently in the opening round robin style round. Guggenberger Legionäre leads the standings with a 4-1 record and still has a game to play this week against 3-2 Voith Heidenheim Heidekoepfe. This win from Draci Brno moves them to 4-2, while Eagles Praha has yet to win a game at 0-6.
