Baseball European Federation Cup 2025 – Group Slovenia

Krajnski Lisjaki from Slovenia will be elevated to the 2026 Baseball European Cup after their 2-1 finals victory over the Rättvik BSK Butchers from Sweden. The Baseball European Cup is the second-tier tournament in Europe.

In the final game, both teams got quality starts from their pitchers. However, it was the Slovenian side that prevailed. Krajnski Lisjaki’s Žan Primožic was named Most Valuable Player of the tournament.

The 24-year-old hit three home runs in four games, leading all players at the tournament. He collected nine RBIs and 18 total bases. His slash line was .667/.1500/.773. Other notable performances included his teammate Ryan Kazim Mirza, who hit two home runs and an OPS of 2.000, and Benjamin Johnson of the Butchers, who had a 1.00 ERA in the tournament.

The third-place team was the Sofia Blues of Bulgaria. They had the same record as the fourth-place team, Apollo Bratislava Baseball. The Wil Devils of Switzerland finished 1-3 and were the last-place team.

In the Sweden Group of the Baseball European Federation Cup, Great Britain’s Essex Arrows won and advanced to the 2026 Baseball European Cup. With the Arrows and Krajnski Lisjaki advancing, the winners of the two Baseball European Federation Cup Qualifiers, held in Poland and Norway, will join the 2026 Baseball Federation Cup.
