The Arkansas Razorbacks are in pursuit of history at the College World Series as they are chasing down their program’s first national championship.

Hawaiian Hitters Make History for the Hogs

However, two players on the team have already made some history. Wehiwa Aloy and Kuhio Aloy are the first pair of brothers to be named first-team All-SEC.

Wehiwa was also the SEC Player of the Year and is one of three finalists who are up to win the Golden Spikes award. The winner of the award is given to the best player in college baseball and will be announced on June 21.

The two players, nicknamed the “Bash Braddahs,” have taken baseball in Fayetteville by storm. The Wailuku, Hawaii, natives, who both transferred to Arkansas from other schools, have been significant contributors to the Razorbacks’ potent offense in 2025.

Wehiwa and Kuhio have combined for over 160 hits and 33 home runs this season. Both of the Aloy brothers have batting averages over .325.

The Aloys’ Play has Been Contagious

The great offensive play from the Hawaiian brothers has made Arkansas’ offense formidable this season. The Razorbacks rank in the top 20 in team batting average, top 15 in total hits, and are 4th in the country in home runs.

The Aloy brothers were not the only Arkansas players to receive All-SEC honors. Starting pitcher Zach Root was also named first-team All-SEC.

Cam Kozeal was named second-team All-SEC.

Up Next

On Monday, Arkansas defeated Murray State 3-0 to stay alive in the 2025 College World Series.

Their next game will be Tuesday, June 17, against the loser of the game between LSU and UCLA. The first pitch for the Razorbacks’ next game at Charles Schwab Field is scheduled for 7 p.m. EDT.
