The South Americans will compete in their group with Colombia, Argentina, Puerto Rico, Canada, and the host country
(Press Release; Pan American Baseball Confederation) – The Brazilian national team announced its roster for the Copa América, which the Pan American Baseball Confederation will hold in Panama.
The team will be managed by Reinaldo Santo and will seek to finish among the top three in a group that includes Puerto Rico, Canada, and the host country, Panama, as well as familiar South American rivals Colombia and Argentina.
The roster includes pitchers Hugo Kanabushi, Heitor Tokar, Daniel Missaki, Arthur Tsujiguchi, Alan Ryu Takeda, Joao Gabriel Marostica, Mubuo Gouveia, Oscar Nakaoshi, Paulo Noris, Pedro Luciano, Rodrigo Takahashi, and Tomás López.
The team consists of infielders Alan Fagioni, Felipe Koragi, Jonathan Ochoa, Lucas Oshikawa, Lucas Rojo, Osvaldo Carvalho, Tiago Nishiyama, and Vitor Ito. It also includes catchers Eduardo Arteaga, Gabriel Carmo, and Gabriel Gómes, and outfielders Víctor Coutinho, Vinicius Santos, Andrew Sato, and Dylan Dubovin.
