The Auburn Tigers won all three games this past weekend in the 2026 Amegy Bank College Baseball Series at Globe Life Field.

Major comeback against Florida State
On Saturday, February 21, Auburn mounted a comeback to take down the Florida State Seminoles 8-5.
The Tigers trailed Florida State 4-0 heading into the fifth inning. However, they went on to outscore the Seminoles 8-1 in the final four innings to seal the win.
Bristol Carter, Brandon McCraine, and Eric Guevara combined for eight hits for Auburn in the winning effort. McCraine and Carter combined for five runs scored.
Catcher Chase Fralick had three RBIs in the game as well.
Auburn’s starting pitcher in the game, Jackson Sanders, had nine strikeouts despite letting up some runs early. Relievers Jett Johnston and Ryan Hetzler allowed just one run and struck out four hitters combined. Hetzler earned the save.
Huge ten-run effort in the win over Louisville
On Sunday, February 22, Auburn won its final game of the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series 10-6 over the Louisville Cardinals.
The Tigers had 13 hits in the game as a team. Bub Terrell led Auburn in hitting with three hits and two RBIs against Louisville. Including Terrell, five Auburn hitters had multi-hit games.
Auburn had big pitching performances against Louisville as well. Starting pitcher Alex Petrovic and reliever LJ Cormier combined for 11 strikeouts against the Cardinals.
Carter wins Most Outstanding Player award
Carter brought home the Most Outstanding Player award for Auburn after their big weekend at Globe Life Field.
He had six hits, scored seven runs, drew three walks, stole three bases, and had two RBIs.
Carter also hit a home run in Auburn’s win over Florida State this past Saturday.
Up next for Auburn
The Auburn Tigers are now 6-1 overall to start the 2026 college baseball season.
Their next game is on Wednesday, February 25, against the West Georgia Wolves. The game is at Auburn’s home ballpark, Plainsman Park, and the first pitch is at 7 p.m. EST.
