The tournament featured three teams:
- Junior National Team of Bulgaria
- Belgrade Junior Selection
- Voša Novi Sad
The competition was played in a double round-robin format, with each team facing the others twice, providing a valuable number of competitive international games for all participants.
Before the official start of the tournament on Friday, the teams were formally welcomed by Juri Alkalay, Vice President of WBSC Europe, who highlighted the importance of such events for strengthening cooperation between federations and creating international pathways for young athletes within the European softball structure.
After two days of competition, the Junior National Team of Bulgaria finished in first place, followed by Voša Novi Sad in second position, while the Belgrade selection placed third.
The Belgrade Trophy once again confirmed the importance of club and federation-led international youth tournaments in supporting WBSC Europe’s long-term development strategy—offering young players early international experience, competitive structure, and opportunities for cross-border cooperation.
