The Chinese Taipei Baseball Association announced their official 24-man roster for the 2024 Haarlem Honkbalweek tournament.
From July 12 to 19, all of the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem games will be played at Pim Mulier Stadion in Haarlem, Netherlands.
The gold medal and bronze medal game will be on July 19.
The CTBA will have players in their minor leagues of the Chinese Professional Baseball League in Taiwan be on the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem event roster.
Chinese Taipei will be one of the six teams in the field at the Honkbalweek Haarlem event in Haarlem, Netherlands, with host nation Kingdom of Netherlands, Spain, Japan, Italy, and Team USA.
Chinese Taipei has never won gold at the Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament.
Chinese Taipei Japan will play in their second consecutive event after losing 5-3 in the gold medal game of the 2024 Prague Baseball Week tournament in the Czech Republic on Monday, July 7.
Chinese Taipei pitcher Wei-En Lin will be the only player not returning to their roster for the Honkbalweek Haarlem tournament from PBW.
The CTBA and the Baseball Federation of Japan announced on July 11, 2023, that they will participate in the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem event.
Jeffrey Jr. Koo is the president of the CTBA.
Chinese Taipei is ranked No. 5 in the World Baseball Rankings from the World Baseball Softball Confederation.
The 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem event will count towards the WBR.
The first game of the 2024 Honkbalweek Haarlem event will be on July 12. Chinese Taipei will play Japan at 9:30 a.m. EDT, followed by the Netherlands playing the United States at 1:30 p.m. EDT, both games at Pim Mulier Stadion.
The honkbalsoftbal.tv streaming platform will have all the 2024 Honkbal Haarlem Week live games with a paid subscription.
