Lidom Licey Manager Gilbert Gomez
Tigres del Licey manager Gilbert Gomez talked to World Baseball Network about LIDOM being showcased in New York and Miami this past weekend.
“I think it’s great to be able to come here and play in this ballpark,” Gomez said after the 3-2 loss against Àguilias Cibaeñas at Citi Field. “They’re playing down there in Miami, and we’re playing over here, and I think it’s great for LIDOM to be able to showcase their talents in the States.”
The New York and Miami games are exhibition games and don’t count toward the LIDOM standings.
