Christian Yelich leaves Brewers’ game against Nationals with hamstring tightness

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Christian Yelich left the Milwaukee Brewers’ game against the Washington Nationals on Sunday with tightness in his left hamstring.

It wasn’t immediately clear how Yelich got hurt. He was the designated hitter and went 0 for 2, hitting grounders each time. Gary Sánchez pinch-hit for him in the fifth inning.

Yelich, a three-time All-Star and the 2018 NL MVP, is batting .314 with one homer and 10 RBIs in 15 games.
