Citi Field Showdown on November 15 Features DR and Puerto Rico All-Star Clash and How to Watch

Puerto Rico and the Dominican Republic will bring their winter-league stars together on Thursday afternoon for a first-of-its-kind All-Star Game at Citi Field, a showcase uniting two of Latin America’s most influential baseball cultures on United States soil. Both leagues — the Asociación de Peloteros Profesionales de Puerto Rico and the Federación Nacional de Peloteros Profesionales de la República Dominicana — released their final rosters this week, including late adjustments through November 14 and 15.

The matchup also serves as a meaningful moment for Robinson Cano, who is expected to make his final appearance on U.S. soil following a global career that includes championships in Major League Baseball, the World Baseball Classic, the Serie del Rey, the Caribbean Series, and the Baseball Champions League. With MLB legends, active winter-league standouts, and full rosters now finalized, the stage is set for a historic international game.

WHO:
Professional players from Liga de Beisbol Profesional Roberto Clemente (Puerto Rico) and Liga de Beisbol Profesional de la Republica Dominicana, including MLB legends Robinson Cano, Carlos Delgado, Carlos Gomez, and Carlos Beltran, with appearances from Roberto Alomar, Bartolo Colon, Alfonso Soriano, and Jay Z.

WHAT:
A full-scale winter-league All-Star Game held on United States soil for the first time, matching the Asociación de Peloteros Profesionales de Puerto Rico against the Federación Nacional de Peloteros Profesionales de la República Dominicana.

WHEN:
Thursday, November 15, with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. EST.

WHERE:
Citi Field in Queens, N.Y.

WHY IT MATTERS:
This is the first official meeting between the PR and DR winter leagues in the United States, bringing two of the most influential baseball nations together in New York City, where both communities have deep roots and generational ties to the game.

It also gives Cano a final farewell in New York, a city central to his legacy, making his last appearance on U.S. soil a meaningful moment for both fan bases.

HOW TO WATCH:
The game will air on CDN Deportes, WAPA TV, WPIX, and MLB.TV.
