LSU Tigers are the 2026 National Championship Favorite at +800
The reigning national champion LSU Tigers are the 2026 national title favorite. According to DraftKings, the Tigers are at +800 odds, making them the safest bet to win it all in 2026.
In 2025, LSU went 53-15 overall and was 19-9 in SEC play. They will begin the 2026 college baseball season playing the Milwaukee Panthers at Alex Box Stadium on February 13.
Georgia, Arkansas, and Tennessee Round Out the Top Five in Odds for the SEC
After LSU, three SEC teams are in the top five in odds to win the national championship, according to DraftKings.
The Georgia Bulldogs are second in odds at +1100, the Arkansas Razorbacks are third in odds at +1200, and the Tennessee Volunteers are tied for fourth in odds at +1500.
The Volunteers have the same odds to win it all as the North Carolina Tar Heels.
In 2025, Georgia, Arkansas, and Tennessee all made the NCAA Tournament. The Razorbacks went all the way to the College World Series as they defeated Tennessee in the Fayetteville super regional.
UCLA, North Carolina, and Florida State Mix into the Top Ten in CWS Winner Odds
The UCLA Bruins, who are fourth in odds to win the 2026 College World Series at +1300, are led by the number one 2026 MLB Draft prospect, Roch Cholowsky.
In 2025, the Bruins went to the College World Series after sweeping through a regional and super regional they hosted in Los Angeles.
The North Carolina Tar Heels are tied with Tennessee for the fourth-best odds at +1500. During the 2025 NCAA Tournament, they were the fifth overall national seed and hosted a super regional at Boshamer Stadium in Chapel Hill.
The Tar Heels also won the 2025 ACC Tournament in Durham, N.C.
Florida State is in the top ten in odds to win the College World Series behind Vanderbilt. The Seminoles’ odds to win the national championship next season are at +2000.
In 2025, Florida State went all the way to the Corvallis super regional before being knocked out by the Oregon State Beavers.
Vanderbilt, Texas Round Out the SEC’s Presence in the 2026 CWS Winner Odds
Two other SEC teams are towards the end of the top ten in future odds to win the 2026 College World Series.
The Vanderbilt Commodores are at +1900 to win the national championship next season, and the Texas Longhorns are at +2000. Texas has the same odds of winning the national championship as Florida State.
During the 2025 NCAA Tournament, Vanderbilt and Texas were the number one and two overall national seeds. The Commodores were fresh off winning the 2025 SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala.
Vanderbilt and Texas both did not make it past regional play.
Coastal Carolina Finishes Off the Top Ten CWS Winners Odds for 2026
Rounding out the top ten in the College World Series winner odds for 2026 are the Coastal Carolina Chanticleers.
Coastal Carolina is +2200 to win the national championship in 2026. In 2025, they went all the way to the College World Series, where they played LSU in the national championship.
The Chanticleers finished as Sun Belt regular season and tournament champions. They were also national runners-up in 2025.
