Copa América de Béisbol Dates and Groups Reportedly Set

According to a report from Enrique Rojas of ESPN Deportes, the 2025 Copa América de Béisbol dates and groups have been finalized for the event. It will take place from November 13 to 22 and is expected to be held in three cities across two countries. Mexico is reportedly the favorite to host games in the group stage and the super round.

The groups reportedly are:

Group A: Venezuela/Panamá/Dominican Republic/Colombia/Brazil/Curaçao

Group B: México/United States/Puerto Rico/Cuba/Nicaragua/Canada. The top 3 from each group will advance to the super round.

It will be a historic tournament with the Americas not having a baseball-only event every four years to gather the best teams from North America and South America until the creation of this tournament.

The tournament will qualify teams for the 2026 Central American and Caribbean Games in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, and the 2027 Pan American Games in Peru.

This tournament will serve as a warm-up for the 2026 World Baseball Classic, officially marking the start of the road to the 2028 Olympics for teams from the Americas.
