Three catchers, six infielders, five outfielders, and thirteen pitchers make up the team
(Press Release; Pan American Baseball Confederation) – The Pan American Baseball Confederation continues its preparations for the Americas Cup, which will be held from November 13-22 in Panama, where Cuba will compete in Group A.
According to its press team, the team will be managed by Germán Mesa Fresneda, with Noelvis González as bench coach, Pedro Lazo as pitching coach, Jesús Bosmeiner as pitching coach, Rafael Muñoz and Cecilio Drake as base coaches, and Omar Linares as offense coach.
The Cuban team will begin training tomorrow in Matanzas with the selected players.
Catchers (3): Andrys Pérez García, Andy Yaniel Cosme Oliva, and Raidel Abel Sánchez Trutié.
The action continues Tuesday with Brazil visiting Panama, while Venezuela (Blue) visits Venezuela (White) in the second game.
