Curaçao repeat as Baseball Caribbean Cup Champions

World No. 26 Curaçao defeated the hosts and No. 43 Bahamas, 5-1, in the final at the Andre Rodgers National Baseball Stadium in Nassau to claim the VII Caribbean Baseball Cup.

Curaçao was the defending champion and earned the right to participate in the Central American and Caribbean Games, scheduled from July 24 to August 8, 2026, in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

Curaçao’s left-hander Nelmerson Angela earned MVP honour. A former minor league in the New York Mets Farm System, the 27-year-old pitcher spent the 2025 season with HCAW Bussum in the Dutch Major League (Hoofdklasse).

In the bronze medal game, No. 38 US Virgin Islands defeated No. 58 Sint Maarten, 6-4.
