Czech Baseball has announced its upcoming series against Germany. The two nations plan to play a three-game series in the Czech Republic in mid-August.
The series schedule was announced on Friday. The first game will be played at Trebic Nuclears field on August 16 at 7 p.m. ET. The second game will be played on August 17 at Eagles Praha field at 7 p.m. ET. The final game of the series will be played on August 18 at 1 p.m. ET at Tempo Praha field.
The three-game series will be a clash between two teams that have seen success in recent tournaments. Germany finished fourth in the 2023 Baseball European Championship, held in the Czech Republic, with a record of 4-2. The Czech team finished with the same record but one spot below Germany. During the Prague Baseball Week in July, the Czech National Team finished in third to earn bronze with a 2-3 record. The German team didn’t see the same success, finishing fourth with a 0-4 record.
The battle between countries will be the last time fans can see the Czech National Team play this summer. The teams should provide fans with three exciting games.
