The D1Baseball.com rankings were released on Sunday, March 12, and Louisiana State University remains up top the NCAA rankings at 15-1 at No. 1.
Stanford fell from No. 2 in the country to No. 9 at 10-5 overall losing to Santa Clara University 10-5 last Tuesday and the University of Southern California on Saturday by the score of 10-7. The University of Tennessee moved up from No. 3 to number at 14-3.
The University of Mississippi moved up from No. 4 to No. 3 in the nation at 14-2 Wake Forest rose from No. 5 to No. 4 at 15-2. The University of Florida at 15-3 reached the top five, moving up from No. 6. Campbell University climbed up in the rankings from 24 to 19 improving their overall record to 12-2.
Southern Mississippi at 10-5 dropped from No. 22 to No. 25, and the University of Alabama dropped from 18th in the country to 24that 15-2. North Carolina State University slipped from No. 19 to No. 24 at 14-2.
Florida Gulf Coast University, which was not ranked last week, cracked the top 25 at No. 20 with a record of 11-4.
