Czechia opened day 4 with another dominating win against Sweden scoring 15 runs to Sweden’s 0. Ending the game after a short 3 innings the Czech side scored 5 runs in the first, 9 runs in the second and a final closing run in the third. They remain undefeated as we head into the final 2 days of the tournament.

Slovakia walked it off in the bottom of the seventh against Great Britain! In a game that went back and forth right until the end, Slovakia’s Richard Gottschall homered deep to right centre earning 3 RBIs and giving his team the game in an 11-12 win.

In game 3 the Netherlands put on a hitting display and defeated Croatia 26-3. In a short 3 inning game the Dutch side had 16 hits with standout performances from, Dyron Juaquin (RBI homerun) and Rachid Engelhardt (2RBI homerun), however it was Jefferson Delfina who tallied almost half the teams runs. With not one but two grand slams Jefferson scored 8 runs.

Denmark faced Slovakia later in the day and held the Slovaks scoreless until the final inning. The Danish side scored a total of 16 runs off of 13 hits across a four-inning game. Although too late the Slovakian side did score a run in bottom of the fourth inning thanks to a homerun from Jaroslav Sitár but ultimately conceded a 16-1 loss.

The Belgians showed class and consistency against the British team scoring in each running to maintain a steady lead. They started off strong scoring 4 runs followed by an additional 2 runs for the following 3 innings. The fourth inning brought in an additional 2 runs leaving their score at 10 runs for the game. The British side had a late resurgence scoring a run in the fourth and fifth inning off homeruns from Damon Richard Brown and Darren Andre Meintjes. This brought the final score to 10-2.

In the final game of the day the reigning defending champions and runners up, Czechia and Denmark, braved wet and windy conditions. After a closely fought battle Czechia maintained their undefeated status but were definitely challenged by the Danish side. The late breakthrough came thanks to Czech Right Fielder Jan Hlaváč with a 2RBI homerun to leave the score at 5-2.
