Details of Hunter Harvey’s $6 million, one-year contract with the Chicago Cubs:

2026 salary: $5 million

2027 mutual option: $8 million (or $1 million buyout)

Performance bonuses

Based on games pitched: $125,000 each for 40, 45, 40 and 55; $250,000 each for 60 and 65

Based on games finished: $125,000 each for 20, 25, 30 and 35
