A Global Roster for a Global Game 🌎

The 2025 Dodgers’ championship roster features talent from across the baseball world:

🇯🇵 Japan — Shohei Ohtani, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Roki Sasaki, Manager Dave Roberts
🇩🇴 Dominican Republic — Teoscar Hernández, Esteury Ruiz, Luis García, José Ureña, Julian Fernández
🇨🇺 Cuba — Andy Pages
🇻🇪 Venezuela — Yoendrys Gómez, Edgardo Henríquez, Miguel Rojas
🇰🇷 Korea — Hyeseong Kim
🇵🇷 Puerto Rico — Kiké Hernández, Eddie Rosario, Alexis Díaz
🇨🇦 Canada — Freddie Freeman

The rest of the roster hails from the United States, representing states from California to Kentucky. Together they formed one of the most internationally diverse lineups ever to win a World Series.

A Farewell and a Future

Three-time champion Clayton Kershaw will make his final appearance as a Dodger before retiring — a cornerstone of the franchise for nearly two decades.

“Dodger for life,” Kershaw said at last year’s rally — a line that will echo through Chavez Ravine one more time.

The Dodgers’ 5-4 Game 7 win over the Toronto Blue Jays at Rogers Centre made them the first MLB team to repeat as champions in 25 years.

World Baseball Network will follow up this week with international profiles on each player listed above — their national ties, winter league backgrounds, and future tournament eligibility for the 2026 World Baseball Classic.
