Freshman two-way player Dylan Harrison saw some action on the mound during Clemson’s opening day matchup against the Army Black Knights.
The Tigers won the game 3-2, and Harrison pitched 4 1/3 innings. Over that stretch, he had three strikeouts and allowed just one earned run. Harrison did not walk anybody in his pitching appearance on Friday, February 13.
Harrison also did not take any at-bats for Clemson in their close win on opening day.
The two-way prospect is a highly anticipated freshman in college baseball. Perfect Game named him a top 25 freshman in the country heading into the 2026 season. They also named him a top ten Atlantic Coast Conference prospect for the 2028 MLB Draft.

Before stepping on the mound for the first time in his Clemson career, Harrison played for Summit High School in Fontana, Calif.
According to Perfect Game, he was a top 30 right-handed pitcher and a top 130 overall player in the 2026 high school class. He was a top 25 high school prospect from the state of California.
Harrison is a member of Clemson’s 2026 high school recruiting class that ranked 17th in the country.
Clemson has a doubleheader against Army on Saturday
On Saturday, February 14, the Clemson Tigers will look to build on their 1-0 record as they play the Army Black Knights in a doubleheader.
The first game at Doug Kingsmore Stadium in Clemson, S.C., starts at noon EST. The second game starts at 4 p.m. EST.
