CHIHUAHUA, Mexico (July 29, 2025) — History is being made in Chihuahua, as El Swing Perfecto Little League has earned its first-ever trip to Williamsport, Pennsylvania, to represent Mexico in the 2025 Little League World Series, Presented by T-Mobile.

The team clinched its spot in the global tournament after a 4-1 victory in the Mexico Region Championship game, capping off a dominant 7-1 run through regional play. Their only loss came at the hands of Tepezala Little League earlier in the tournament, but El Swing Perfecto bounced back with resilience and precision — true to their name.

Chartered for the first time in 2023, El Swing Perfecto LL’s rapid rise to prominence adds to Mexico’s long and proud history at the LLBWS. This will mark the 37th time that a team from Mexico has appeared in the tournament, second only to Canada among international participants. Mexican teams have compiled a 79-61 record in Williamsport, with three championship titles (1957, 1958, 1997), four runner-up finishes, and three third-place honors. The country’s legendary legacy began in 1957 when the Industrial Little League of Monterrey claimed the title behind Angel Macias’s historic perfect game in the championship.

El Swing Perfecto Little League will take the field on Thursday, August 14, at 5 p.m. ET in Volunteer Stadium for their opening matchup against Tung-Yuan Little League, the Asia-Pacific Region champion. The 2025 Little League Baseball World Series begins on Wednesday, August 13, and concludes with the championship game on Sunday, August 24.
