Infielder Emmanuel García signed with The Criollos de Caguas of the Roberto Clemente Professional Baseball League (LBPRC) on Thursday, May 2, the club announced.

García, 26, was born in Caguas Puerto Rico. He played college ball at Louisiana Tech University and started his professional career in 2022 in the Frontier Independent League. He most recently played in the 2024 Caribbean Series and is currently in the Mexican Baseball League.

Jesús “Motorita” Feliciano, the clubs’ general manager, said, “Manny García is a player who perhaps has not been given the opportunity he wants… he has managed to open doors in a very special way.”

The Criollos are coming off a championship season in the six-team LBPRC and just got stronger.

The LBPRC season kicks off in early November and runs through January and the winning team gets the opportunity to play in Serie del Caribe (Caribbean Series).
