The Federazione Italiana Baseball Softball (FIBS) has secured a major extension with technical partner Macron, announcing a four-year agreement that will see the Italian sportswear leader continue outfitting national teams through 2029.
The renewal, unveiled at Macron’s headquarters in Valsamoggia, signals continued stability and growth for Italian baseball and softball following a surge in international visibility and competitive success across 2025 and early 2026.
Under the agreement, Macron will provide uniforms and apparel for all national programs, including baseball, softball, Baseball5, blind baseball, and eBaseball, as well as outfitting federation officials, such as umpires and classifiers.
The announcement event doubled as a showcase for Italy’s new national team kits, featuring bold designs in white, royal blue, and navy, accented by the Italian flag to emphasize identity and pride. The uniforms are also made from 100 percent recycled materials, reinforcing a growing commitment to sustainability in international sportswear.
“This is more than a sponsorship,” FIBS President Marco Mazzieri said. “It’s a shared vision rooted in passion, identity, and long-term growth.”
Macron CEO Gianluca Pavanello echoed that sentiment, emphasizing the brand’s alignment with Italy’s national teams as both a cultural and strategic partnership.
The extension comes at a pivotal moment for Italian baseball, which continues to build international credibility and expand its footprint globally. With consistent branding, increased investment, and aligned leadership, the FIBS–Macron partnership positions Italy to sustain its upward trajectory on and off the field through the end of the decade.
