 Alfred Ezman - World Baseball Network  |    May 19th, 2025 3:00pm EDT

Here are the final top 25 college baseball rankings from World Baseball Network, ahead of the conference tournaments that are and will be happening this week.

The number next to the team’s name indicates how much they moved from last week’s rankings. A (-) sign indicates no movement and/or a new team into the top 25.

1. Oregon Ducks (41-13, 22-8 Big Ten, (-) from last week) – The Oregon Ducks swept the Iowa Hawkeyes enroute to a Big Ten regular season championship in their first season in the conference. They finish the regular season as World Baseball Network’s number one team in the country.

2. LSU Tigers (42-13, 19-11 SEC, +1 from last week) – LSU moves up a spot following a series win on the road against the South Carolina Gamecocks. The Tigers are more than likely going to be a national seed in the 2025 NCAA Tournament once the field is set.

3. North Carolina Tar Heels (39-12, 18-11 ACC, +1 from last week) – North Carolina made some noise towards earning a national seed this weekend, getting a series win on the road against Florida State in Tallahassee. Jake Knapp set the tone early with a complete game on Thursday.

4. Oregon State Beavers (41-12-1, +1 from last week) – Oregon State ended the season with a weekend sweep of Long Beach State in Corvallis. The Beavers will be a host for the NCAA Tournament, despite having no conference tournament to play in.

5. Georgia Bulldogs (42-14, 18-12 SEC, +1 from last week) – The Georgia Bulldogs ended the season with a series win in Athens against the Texas A&M Aggies. The Bulldogs finish the season with 29 wins at home in Foley Field.

6. Arkansas Razorbacks (43-12, 20-10 SEC, +1 from last week) – Arkansas defeated the Tennessee Volunteers in two games during their series at Baum-Walker Stadium this weekend. Head coach Dave Van Horn’s team will look to win the SEC Tournament for the third time in program history this week.

7. Texas Longhorns (42-11, 22-8 SEC, +1 from last week) – Texas won the SEC regular season championship along with their series against Oklahoma this weekend. The first season in the SEC and with head coach Jim Schlossnagle has been successful for the Longhorns.

8. Florida State Seminoles (37-13, 17-10 ACC, -6 from last week) – A lot of teams behind Florida State won their series. Thus, the Seminoles drop back to eighth in the country from number two last week. The Seminoles are still well within national seed territory, even after the series loss to North Carolina.

9. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (44-11, 26-4 Sun Belt, (-) from last week) – Coastal Carolina rightfully finishes as a top ten team in the country. The Chanticleers finished as Sun Belt regular season champions after sweeping Old Dominion this past weekend.

10. Vanderbilt Commodores (39-16, 19-11 SEC, (-) from last week) – Vanderbilt ends the season with a weekend sweep against the Kentucky Wildcats and on a five-game win streak. The Commodores will have a double-bye for the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala.

11. Clemson Tigers (41-15, 18-12 ACC, +4 from last week) – Clemson ended their season on a high note with a series sweep against the Pittsburgh Panthers on the road. The Tigers will be a host team for the NCAA Tournament as they head to Durham, N.C. for the ACC Tournament this week.

12. Dallas Baptist Patriots (38-14, 21-6 C-USA, +4 from last week) – Dallas Baptist earned not only a series win over the Liberty Flames but also won the Conference USA regular season title. The Patriots will match up against Liberty again for the C-USA Tournament in Lynchburg, Va.

13. Auburn Tigers (38-17, 17-13 SEC, (-) from last week) – The Auburn Tigers ended the season in a rough way with a series loss to the Ole Miss Rebels. They stay put at 13 in the final rankings as some teams behind them also lost their series as well.

14. N.C. State Wolfpack (33-18, 17-11 ACC, -3 from last week) – N.C. State dropped their final series of the season to the Stanford Cardinal in Raleigh this season. A great run in the ACC Tournament in Durham, N.C. can help the Wolfpack get back into the hosting discussion.

15. UC Irvine Anteaters (39-13, 24-6 Big West, -1 from last week) – UC Irvine lost their weekend series to Cal State Fullerton. The Anteaters were able to salvage a win in their final game of the season. The win also got UC Irvine the Big West regular season title.

16. TCU Horned Frogs (37-17, 19-11 Big 12, +2 from last week) – Texas Christian earned the series win over Utah this weekend. They finish the season in the top three in the Big 12 standings.

17. UCLA Bruins (39-15, 22-8 Big Ten, +2 from last week) – UCLA had a successful debut season in the Big Ten and ended the year with a series win over Northwestern. The Bruins will open the Big Ten tournament with two games against Illinois and Michigan.

18. Southern Miss Golden Eagles (41-13, 24-6 Sun Belt, +4 from last week) – Southern Miss swept Troy to end their great season. The Golden Eagles are arguably college baseball’s hottest team as they are riding a 15-game win streak.

19. Florida Gators (37-19, 15-15 SEC, +1 from last week) – After starting SEC play 1-11, the Gators miraculously got to .500 in conference play to end the season. Over the weekend, they got the series win over the Alabama Crimson Tide.

20. Ole Miss Rebels (37-18, 16-14, +3 from last week) – Ole Miss broke free of an SEC slump with a series win against the Auburn Tigers. The Rebels scored 32 total runs during the three games combined.

21. Troy Trojans (37-19, 18-12 Sun Belt, -9 from last week) – The Troy Trojans got swept by Southern Miss to end the 2025 season. The team is riding a four-game losing streak and will play Old Dominion to open the Sun Belt tournament.

22. Tennessee Volunteers (41-15, 16-14 SEC, -5 from last week) – Tennessee has now lost five straight SEC series after dropping two out of three games to Arkansas this weekend. The Volunteers are fighting to host a regional in the NCAA Tournament this week in the SEC Tournament.

23. Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets (39-16, 19-11 ACC, (-) from last week) – A series win for Georgia Tech against Duke earned them the ACC regular season title. The Yellow Jackets will await the winner of California and Miami for their first game in the ACC Tournament.

24. Oklahoma Sooners (33-19, 14-16 SEC, -3 from last week) – Oklahoma lost their weekend series against Texas to end the season. This makes their first-ever SEC Tournament a vital one for good seeding in the NCAA Tournament. They will begin their run in Hoover, Ala. against the Kentucky Wildcats.

25. Northeastern Huskies (45-9, 25-2 CAA, (-) from last week) – Northeastern rounds out the final top 25 after they swept North Carolina A&T over the weekend. The Huskies had a dominant regular season that is the best one in their program’s history.
