Malone and his time playing college baseball at Ole Miss
While Malone was at Ole Miss, he not only played college football, but he also played college baseball for the Rebels.
Malone played baseball for the Rebels in 2022 and 2023 during his freshman and sophomore seasons.
In two seasons combined, Malone had 19 at-bats and recorded five hits. Three of his hits were home runs. Malone also had six runs scored and five RBIs in his Ole Miss baseball career.
Ole Miss won 67 games during the two years Malone was a part of the baseball program. The former infielder was on the team for the Rebels’ first-ever national championship in 2022.
That is not the only year Malone won a collegiate title. In 2024, he helped Ohio State win the college football national championship. During that season, Malone had eight total tackles.
Malone focused on football and left college baseball once he transferred to Ohio State.
