Génesis Cabrera Signs with Chicago Cubs

On May 27, 2025, left-handed reliever Génesis Cabrera signed a minor league contract with the Chicago Cubs. The Dominican-born pitcher has previously played for the St. Louis Cardinals, Toronto Blue Jays, and New York Mets during his Major League Baseball (MLB) career.

In 2025, he has a 3.52 ERA in 7.2 innings pitched.
